In doing so, KTM once again underlines its leading role in the world of Offroad sports activity.

The huge amount of depth of development in the new Offroad model range extends all the way from the 50 cc two-stroke (50 SX) right up to the powerful displacement of the Enduro 530 EXC-R. This especially applies to the 350 SX-F, which was first exhibited last autumn. This, the first ever 350 cc bike deployed in the MX1 World Championship, has already been mastered by factory riders Antonio “Tony” Cairoli and his Red Bull KTM teammate Rui Goncalves. Cairoli not only won the premiere race for the 350 machine; after his GP victories, he is also leading the championship standings.

In addition to the unique engine concept, the MX lineup for the 2011 also includes a newly developed frame and chassis components.

The Enduro models, which have been similarly decorated with world championship titles all also profit from the massive amount of experience gathered by not less than 176 World Championship titles. This can be seen both in the feather light two-stroke versions as well as the highly modern and performance powerful four-stroke models. New Design Yamaha Y125 MOEGI The Tokyo Motor Show is a hotbed for strange and way-out-there conceptual vehicles, most of them destined to stay on the drawing board, but this one, the Yamaha Y125 MOEGI, could actually cause a splash in the market on this side of the Pacific Ocean.

This concept model is a fresh embodiment of Yamaha design philosophy that combines the familiar look and feel of a bicycle in a motorcycle. Mounting a world standard 125cc class engine on a slim, lightweight frame, this model is designed to offer good fuel economy with an easy and enjoyable ride. Besides its appeal as a personal vehicle for daily commuting, it sports an active image that will lure owners on longer jaunts on the weekends.

The usual suspects include the updated R1, Majesty 250 and T-Max , and the Worldcrosser version of their Super Tenere.But perhaps the most interesting are the concept bikes which include a very funky Lego-esque version of the XT250 dualie called the RYOKU and the 1950s bicycle-with-a-motor-wedged-into-it, Y125 MOEGI very Mad Bastardish.

This thing could be a serious competitor against the less attractive scooter offerings on the market right now, and at 125cc, it should sport the kind of power that a serious motorcyclist might find intriguing as an additional to the stable to ride for kicks or hand off to the kids.
