Servis Karburator

JANGAN SERING DIBONGKAR
2010-10-15 21:49:13

Alasan lain, selama karbu dilengkapi filter, tak banyak kotoran menyusup.

"Jika tanpa filter bensin.

Yamaha R1 Modify

Yamaha R1 ModifyYamaha R1 Modify

Yamahas R1 has been tweaked and massaged for 2006 to produce a claimed 2.2kW more power at 12 500rpm. To give you an idea of the detail work this involves, the intake valve guides have been shortened by 5mm to 27.5mm.

This allows a smoother, straighter intake port and improves intake gas flow; Yamaha says it also reduces frictional losses on the valve stems but I somehow doubt the difference would be measurable.

The cam chain tensioner has been revised and the clutch boss modified for better oil flow to the clutch assembly.

Its chassis has also been nipped and tucked to move the weight bias one percent further forward and extend the swing-arm by 20mm; the frame thickness has been modified to change the frame rigidity balance without affecting vertical rigidity

Only 500 R1 SPs will be produced to legalise its special suspension, wheels and slipper clutch
.

The front suspension has been modified to suit the revised weight bias, including a new lower triple clamp. The rear engine mounts have also been revised and the swing-arm pivot has been moved to optimise the effect of its increased length on the handling – but thats not the big news.

The big news is that for the first time on a Japanese litre-class sports bike Yamaha has seen fit to build, alongside the standard model, a limited-edition "SP" (sport performance) version dripping with the special components American journalists used to call unobtanium because you just couldnt get them in the US.

SPs are generally low-volume, homologation specials, sold to the public in just sufficient numbers to satisfy racing regulations

Each of the 500 R1 SPs will have a small plaque engraved with its production number to underline its exclusivity
. In this case only 500 R1 SPs will be produced to legalise its special suspension, wheels and slipper clutch for World Superbike competiton use.

The slipper clutch does exactly that – it slips under hard engine braking to reduce rear wheel chatter and uncontrolled slides. It also makes possible hair-raising clutchless down-changes without upsetting either gearbox or chassis composure.

Apart from the special clutch, the engine is standard but the running gear is really special, based on world-class components from Swedish suspension specialist Öhlins, carefully set up to match the R1s chassis characteristics and tuneable through a wider range of adjustment than the unit on the "ordinary" version – believe me, theres nothing ordinary about any R1!

The rear suspension has a hydraulic pre-load adjuster that allows quick and accurate settings "on the fly" as well as a compact ride height adjuster in a relay arm on the suspension linkage. This allows your pit crew to raise or lower the rear ride height without affecting the spring preload or static sag settings.

The 43mm Öhlins upside-down forks have a TiN coating on the chrome sliders to minimise stiction while the outer tubes are also anodised gold. Theyre adjustable for preload, compression and rebound damping through a greater range of parameters than the "standard" units.

By far the most eye-catching special components on the SP, however, are the Marchesini forged aluminium rims, with the same Y-shaped spokes as used on Valentino Rossis M1 MotoGP machine.

Each is 400g lighter than a cast rim of equivalent strength which Yamaha says is responsible for the R1 SPs superior handling and road-holding, together with the revised rigidity balance of the frame.

The R1 SP will only be available in a distinctive colour called Gun Smoke, with gold wheels, gold anodised underseat silencers and and a special gold-coloured Triple Tuning Fork badge on the fuel tank.

Each of the 500 R1 SPs will have a small plaque engraved with its production number to underline its exclusivity.

The standard 2006 R1 with chassis and engine updates is already available in South Africa at R113 000. The R1 SP version should be here in late February or early March – as always Yamaha is not prepared to quote prices until they arrive.

2011 Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200 Review

Dorsoduro 1200 is cooled as his younger brother 750 Therefore, there is a large cooler messing with supermoto riding style a bit like the boots do not get as far forward as the right front wheel supermoto.

The new lattice steel frame could be the same as the 750, but is stronger and stiffer and a bit heavier. Aprilia partly offset by the lighter rear subframe, but there is no reason to believe that the improvement will not benefit from the 750 in the future. The Dorsoduro 1200 tackles corners with agility and sense of supermotard where you can place the front wheel exactly where you want.

2011 Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200
2011 Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200

The Dorsoduro 1200 is a heavy (457 pounds of dry weight) compared to something like the Ducati Hypermotard, but with 30 more horsepower to compensate. The chassis is ultra stable for this type of bike. Nail the gas out of corners in the first and the second is just the delicacy with traction control and the driving mode selected correctly.

2011 Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200
2011 Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200

Driving a supermoto about to slip in and out of the corners requires certain superhuman abilities, such as the SXV. The Dorsoduro 1200, however, allows the public road on horseback to meet some of these skills in a safe manner. With this great 1197cc engine and a rigid chassis, I felt something like a heavy bike. The back 1200 just feels agile and ready at all entrances.

The suspension fork 43mm Sachs has a $ 160 mm with full scan. Sachs shock rear overhang of 155 mm can travel. The long journey that can break on the depth contours, and do not have enough grip, a slide is controllable. At the rear is the same story, and the suspension was prepared for almost any kind of abuse imaginable. Riding in a straight line or even the suspension of the cruise is not too difficult and absorbs bumps almost as well as a full on supermoto.

2011 Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200
2011 Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200

The steering angle, despite the large radiator in the front, is free and allows you to quickly change more quickly than a city scooter. One of the best things about road and supermoto bikes is the freedom of the front wheel to be placed exactly where you want it to be. The rest of the body is to follow the fashion of deciding whether or not the side. The Dorsoduro takes you to freedom, while bikes like the Shiver does.

Configuration with 320 mm double disc with radial Brembo brakes provide plenty of braking maneuvers, and a single 240 mm rear disc brake caliper piston Brembo takes care to be the corners well. The majority of the market, Dorsoduro 1200 is equipped with ABS as standard. I can not cope with Shiver ABS, but not in Dorsoduro. ABS works very well as a safety measure on a rainy day, but no other adverse weather conditions, I guess far away, and fortunately, you Aprilia. ABS always starts up automatically when the ignition completely off and then on.

2011 Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200
2011 Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200

The 1197cc liquid-cooled 90 degree V-engine was the full, rich V-twin to feel what is missing in the 750. The medium is rich in a pair of twins and goodness, and accelerates very rewarding to the end of 4000 rpm and a maximum output of 130 hp at 8700 rpm. Running with low load, there is a fine of 5000 pushed towers. The maximum torque of 84.8 Nm at 7,200 rpm provide plenty of momentum still on a diet much lower, reflecting a flat curve and beautiful.

Aprilia has two aspects: the open racing on the heart, represented by the SXV / RXV and RSV4 and bona fide road bikes represented by the Dorsoduro and Shiver. The difference is that racing engines are 100% engineering Aprilia, Piaggio engines while 750/1200 (which includes course Aprilia)-engineering. This is good news if you are worried about the reliability high mileage as little service provider agreements as possible.

New 1200C 130-horsepower engine is not stressed at all, and there are good reasons to expect a car touring, with this engine in the near future. Dorsoduro 1200, and accelerates to over 125 mph as easy as anything. On motorways, there is, of course, a lot of air resistance upright riding position, but the seat is a long (and much comfier a real supermoto), and I was able to move forward and tuck in My off-road helmet almost low enough to take advantage of a small plate racing-style wind protection for the engine. Mirrors provide a pretty decent look at the back without too much vibration. There is weaving from side to side at high speed, as is typical for single-cylinder 650cc motorcycle.

2011 Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200
2011 Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200

Back on the winding mountain roads, where Dorsoduro 1200 really shines. In most markets, traction control is supplied as standard with ABS. TC system is basically the same as the ultra RSV4 superbike factory in April, but with lots of features and functionality removed. The traction control is also lower spec everything you need on a bike that Dorsoduro, which is adjustable in three levels plus off. I found it gave me a lot of extra confidence just run fast with traction control on the development whichever is the least restrictive setting. Move up to two and three and more torque is removed from the calculation of the lower speed is based on pre-programmed cards. Level three, with the ABS and the method of rain horse should allow you to press the accelerator on snow and ice, but it would not be fun.

The point of all these aids pilot is that you can, if desired, to tame the beast entirely. The best part might be that if a less experienced driver you want to measure and monitor their own progress through the world of high performance motorcycle that can do a bike. Experienced riders like me will have to endure the discomfort can not change anything while driving. Only three levels of driving Sport, Touring and Rain can be adjusted while driving, and not fast fashion as the gas must be turned off and there is the odd three or more seconds to wait for what is much less traveling alone on the road.

2011 Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200
2011 Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200

If you like to draw some horses, which incidentally is a major selling point of Dorsoduro 130 hp 1200, then the traction control off because it needs a bit of calculations of the front wheel simply disappear when the wheel is in the air. This makes the system think you should turn off the power, what it does. A short wheel is possible, but not along the second speed, you really want.

Conclusion

The Dorsoduro 1200 is all I wanted the 750 was not there. The 1200 engine has achieved everything you ever seek wealth in V-Twin. It is ordered, the bike is now 100% pure pleasure. The Dorsoduro 1200 is better in all areas 750 and the traction control prevents severe palpitations corners with high throttle openings large thin. Despite the large capacity it feels much smaller than the example of BMW HP2. Compared with good supermotard, which is large and heavy, but you probably already knew that if this is not a point of the complaint. Due to the fact that it is liquid cooled and reliable, well built and good safety features, I am inclined to say that the Dorsoduro 1200 could be one of the best options in the neighborhood in 2011.

New Yamaha R6 engine now produces 127 crankshaft horsepower and comes with a slipper clutch as standar. In 2006 Yamaha R6 gear redlined at 16,500 rpm, but the error showed R6 redlining at 17,500 rpm, the first production sportbike with a redline at 17,000 rpm over. Much to be done is made of the ability of the engine to rev so high while also maintaining a dependency, but later revealed that the redline is 1,000 bike really low revs. Prices for New R6 is unknown.

Victory Ness Cross Country

2011 Victory Ness Cross Country Test Drive View
2011 Victory Ness Cross-Country - The 106/6 powertrain cranks out more horsepower and torque than even the H-Ds TC103, chugging away nicely from as low as 1500 rpm with smooth throttle response under a broad swell of power. Vibration can be a bit obtrusive at higher revs, but the torque-rich makes the motor spinning up the V-Twin purely optional. The new trannys helical-cut gears are much quieter than the previous whiny gears, ESPECIALLY noticeable in 6th gear when you want to rumble down the road in peace. A new neutral-assist feature simplifies rolling to a stop and accessing neutral even after clutch degradation and helps extend Victorys oil-change intervals from 3000 to 5000 miles.
Ergonomically, the Ness CCs comfortable suede seat is located slightly closer to the bars than the stock saddle, and its placed 26.25 inches off the ground for the lowest seat height in its class. Legs of all sizes will find a contented position on its 18-inch floorboards, 4.5 inches longer than a Harley Road Kings. The Cross Countrys suspension is the best in its class. Its 43mm inverted fork boasts 5.1 inches of travel, while the air-adjustable shock provides 4.7 inches of bump absorption. Compare That to the Street Glides 2.0 inches!. The Ness CC is equipped with all the mod cons, Including a stereo with iPod connectivity, self-canceling turnsignals and cruise control. Price for Victory Cross Country is $ 24,999.
