Yamaha R6 came in 2003. The new R6 featuring sharp style and bodywork, exhaust it moved down with just a short bike, MotoGP-esque exhaust pipe shown on the right side of the motor. New Yamaha R6 engine now produces 127 crankshaft horsepower and comes with a slipper clutch as standar. In 2006 Yamaha R6 gear redlined at 16,500 rpm, but the error showed R6 redlining at 17,500 rpm, the first production sportbike with a redline at 17,000 rpm over. Much to be done is made of the ability of the engine to rev so high while also maintaining a dependency, but later revealed that the redline is 1,000 bike really low revs. Prices for New R6 is unknown.
