2012 Benelli BN600 Review

S1000RR’s Engine is used by Bimota BB2

Bimota a small Italian bike company have showcased a new bike called Bimota BB2 which uses BMW S1000RR engine.

This is not the first time that Bimota has used BMWs engine. Previous to BB2 it was Bimota BB1 (supermono) which used a single-cylinder BMW F650 engine.The stock BMW S1000RR engine produces 180HP of power. This is used by Bimota in its BB2.

There is no more news about BB2s detail apart from it using BMW S1000RR engine.

Ada cara lebih efektif dan mudah."Servis karbu sampai bongkar cuma diperlukan jika ada jalur bensin mampet. Dan, gak bisa dibersihin atau diperbaiki dari luar. Selain karena masalah ini, servis karbu cukup setel setingan anginnya," jelas Erwin yang biasa disapa Akiang itu.

Alasan lain, selama karbu dilengkapi filter, tak banyak kotoran menyusup. Lagipula, sering bongkar bisa bikin derat baut-baut karbu slek atau bahkan dol. Juga karet sil jadi cepat longgar.

"Jika tak ada kejadian parah, seperti kemasukan banyak kotoran debu atau air, seting karbu itu gak cepat berubah. Kecuali, diutak-atik sembarangan," tegas Akiang.

Pebengkel di Ciputat, Tangerang itu tawarkan solusi mudah dan murah. Karena prosesnya gak banyak waktu dan tenaga serta tak usah ke bengkel.

"Jika tanpa filter bensin. Kudu rajin buang bensin di mangkuk karbu, 2 atau 3 hari sekali. Atau tiap isi bensin full tank. Caranya, tinggal kendurkan baut pembuangan di mangkuk," cetus Akiang.

Kotoran bensin numpuk di dasar mangkuk karbu. Jika dicuekin terisap lewat pilot dan main-jet, akan menyumbat. Kebiasaan isi bensin saat di tangki tinggal cadangan berisiko ngumpulin kotoran.

Ketiga, bersihin saluran udara di congor karbu dengan cairan pembersih karbu. Caranya, lepas karet penyambung karbu dengan boks filter, lalu semprot semua lubangnya sambil hidupkan mesin.

Dengan begini, karbu akan selalu sehat dan tanpa sering dibongkar.
