MV Agusta Brutale 990R Italy 150 SE Launched |MV Agusta is helping Italy celebrate the 150 year absence of Italian city-state fiefdoms with, you guessed it, a custom-painted limited edition motorcycle. A fairly standard operation procedure from old MV Agusta that seemingly has found its way into new MV Agusta, it’s things like this that make us weary as to whether the Italian motorcycle manufacturer has a little bit of a history re-repeating problem.

That which renders this motorcycle exclusive is the livery, highlighted by the dashboard cover which is of the same colour as the bodywork, the tail end which for the occasion has become single seater, and the spoiler: the Italian flag and the number 150 make this model immediately recognizable, also thanks to the motorcycle serial number which is inscribed on a plate located on the upper steering brace.
These special edition machines retail for EUR15,890 (about USD26,665 at the current exchange rate).

The current MV Agusta Brutale 990R machine comes in three colors, namely pastel red, pastel white and pastel black. The street bike is powered by a 998cc four cylinder, four stroke, DOHC engine, capable of delivering 139 horsepower at 10,600 rpm and 106 Nm (78 lb.ft.) at 8,000 rpm. The Brutale 990R is capable of reaching a top speed of 265 km/h (165.5 mph) at 11,600 rpm.
The city skyline with the Duomo, the Castello Sforzesco and the Teatro alla Scala are part of the new logo that identifies the new “Brand Milano”, with the
participation of MV Agusta as well as other major companies from the region of Lombardy.

The presentation is part of a larger project, that will include several initiatives such as the display of the Brutale 990R in Piazza Duomo.
